Opening Blessing with Emilia. Introductions, material handouts. Multicultural history of Yoga & Philosophy. Decolonizing yoga & Culture Appropriation Workshop. (In person)
Weekend 2
Physical & Energetic Anatomy & Physiology. Technique & Alignment. (Virtual)
Weekend 3
Ayurveda, Breath work, Mantras, Meditation, Sound Healing & Yoga Nidra workshops. (In Person)
Weekend 4
The art of teaching. Intro to trauma sensitive yoga. Trauma in the NS. Somatic Yoga. teacher ethics & boundaries. (Virtual)
Weekend 5
Self Love / Self Care- creating sacred space for yourself. Emotional Anatomy. Mental & Emotional Health. Trauma Healing- Nervous system healing. Somatic Yoga. Herbalism-limpias workshop. (In Person)
Weekend 6
Techniques- Using props-accessibility -Modifications. Making yoga accessible for ALL bodies. Start student led classes. (Virtual)
Weekend 7
Student led classes & Final Review (In Person)

Celebratory Retreat. Temazcal, Limpias, nurturing food, music, connection. (In Person Retreat)
Every week students will be exposed to asana(poses) of the week to practice at home, along with readings with journaling prompts to encourage self reflection. Each class will begin with yoga and end with yoga. For our in person meetups folks are encouraged to bring a dish to share with community for potluck style lunch.
Students will have a quiz on poses and material covered in readings to support folks with accountability at every meet up. Quizzes are not graded- they are a support to YOU on your journey. The final will consist of all the
